Chapel Hill:
Unique lodge; unique name
From the loins of the 2007 Annual Communication sprang a new lodge. Mosaic 762 became a reality.

By definition a mosaic is a design made from many different colored stones, glass or tile that, in the hands of its creator, tell an awesome, lasting and meaningful story.

This unique lodge was founded especially to carry out the intent of Freemasonry to serve brethren of different colors equally and freely.

On October 8, 2007, Grand Master Berry Rigdon presented the charter authorized by delegates to the Grand Lodge communication the month before. He installed the Mosaic 762 officers: Master Kip Campbell, Senior Warden Danny Ferguson, Junior Warden Al Jones, Secretary T. Walton Clapp, Treasurer Ric Carter, Senior Deacon Brian Currin, Junior Deacon Dicky Lyons, Steward Dan Miller, Steward Steve Sparrow, Tyler James Rippe and Chaplain Will Towne.

Mosaic 762 meets at 1211 East Franklin Street in Chapel Hill, the same address as that of University 408, the lodge from which Mosaic 762 evolved.
